Australian Opal bordered in sterling beaded wire paired with a trio of petite Australian Opal stones finished as a Cowboy Toothpick. The bigger opal is set in fine silver. Round Opals, twisted wire, embellishments, backplate and toothpick are sterling silver.  

This is a hat accessory. Rather than piercing my hat, I always secure in my hat band. But if you do want to pierce your hat, pre punch the holes and then add your hat pin. Sometimes, I even wear these in my buns. or nuzzle them down in a scarf. The ideas are limitless with this versatile design.
